How to make Candy cane mouse?

Material Needed:

  • Felt
  • Craft Glue or Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Pom-poms
  • Small Candy Cane
  • Embroidery Floss
  • Scissors

Procedure:

By means of felt, cut 2 small teardrop-shaped pieces nearly 3-inches long. Place the candy cane on top of one of the pieces of felt. Cover with the other piece of felt. Stick the 2 pieces together, with the candy cane in the middle and line up the edges.

Glue the nose (small pom-pom) and wiggle eyes in place. Cut 2 little circles out of felt, about 1-inch across for the ears. Cut 2 smaller circles preferably of contrasting colors and glue them in the center of the 1-inch circles. Glue the ears in place. Stick the embroidery floss to look like the whiskers.

How to make Santa Hat Ornament?

Materials Needed:

  • Red Felt
  • Craft Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Cotton Balls or Fiber Fill
  • Scissors

Procedure:

Cut a triangular shape out of red felt. The top point should be made flat and the bottom edge rounded. Cut a 12-inch piece of ribbon and tie it into a circle. Then glue it to the top of the triangle shape.

Roll the felt triangle into a cone. Glue the 2 edges together. The ribbon must stick out of the top of the cone! Fluff out the cotton balls. Then glue the balls around the brim of the hat. Glue one cotton ball on the top of the hat. Again, see to it that the ribbon still sticks out.
