- You can even plant the tree in your house after you have bought it from the market.
- Do not forget to water the tree, as it is a living tree and will not look good if it dries up.
- If you plan to plant the tree, then dig a big hole in the garden and remove all the frozen dirt. Make sure that no plastic or other non-biodegradable dirt is left.
- Use small lights to decorate the Christmas tree, because bigger lights give away too much of heat that will not be good for the needles of the tree.

- Avoid the tree from extreme temperatures. Find a cool place and plant the tree there.

- When you plant the tree, take care that the top of the root ball is just slightly above the ground level or at the level of the soil not deep inside.
