The wreaths can be made at home and also brought from the local market that sells both real and artificial wreaths. The real wreathes are made out of branches and leaves of trees. The artificial wreaths are created in different colors using silk, satin and so on.
Let's take a look at how to create a Christmas tree wreath at your home:
- Collect branches of green trees like pine, fir, oak from the market or from your garden. You need to have holy and red berries to be used in the wreaths. The boughs have to be trimmed as per your requirements.
- Take a wire wreath frame of the size that you require. The wreath is round shaped and therefore, the frame that you take should be circular in shape. The frame should have a hook on the top side so that the wreath could be hanged at the door step, on the walls, Christmas tree.
- Take a floral wire called as paddle and start tying it to the wreath frame. Once the wire is tied, attach the boughs one by one and add holy and red berries in between the branches i.e. trimmings off the tree that you have collected.
- The branches can be tied in form of bunches with insertion of red berries. This will give a complete look to the wreath as it will have the thickness. One by one the bunch of foliage has to be tied with the floral wire.
- Pine cones are used in between the branches and holly and red berries. Tie the branches, cones and berries to the frame in a circular manner. Tie it tightly so that it does not loosen up and fall down.
- The color scheme has to be adjusted and the things have to be tied. The green branches, red berries and rust brown color of cones should be synchronized. This will give a great looking wreath.
- Once, the entire frame is filled, twist the floral wire and knot the two ends. Make sure, there are no loose ends that are coming out from the wreath. Cut the wire after tying. The wreath is ready to adore your home and Christmas tree.
