School Christmas Games

Along with joy and happiness about the birth of Christ, Christmas also brings a long vacation especially for the kids. When Christmas comes closer, we not only plan for the decoration of our house or making sweets but also to spend a joyful time through out the Christmas vacation. For children, it is a time to relax after months of schoolwork and tension. Children are anxiously waiting for Christmas vacations because for them Christmas means a long holiday of one month.

Before the school announces for the Christmas holiday dates, the school should make sure that the children celebrate Christmas with lots of fun all through the season. This fun and the spirit to celebrate Christmas should begin in the school itself. A day before the Christmas vacations begin, school Christmas games should be organized. These games should be such that they must entertain the kids and teach them a Christmas lesson for the coming season.

School is a place where we come to learn everyday something new, something that will improve our life day by day. Therefore, it should be fun to come to school. • Evil elves: Christmas time and no gifts! This is incomplete celebration of Christmas. In this game, three kids will be the evil elves and hide the gifts of all the other children. The children will have to find the sack of gifts and then take their gifts.
• Save your partner: In this game, there will be a team of two students. One will act as an elder brother and other the younger. The rest of the children will gather around them and throw snowflakes on them. You can even use paper balls if snow fakes are not available. The one acting as the elder brother has to save the younger one from the flakes.
• Listen to Santa: This game is very much similar to "Simon says". The kids have to obey Santa and follow his orders. Santa may tell you to dance, run or stand on one leg. You have to listen to his commands and the one who fails to do so is out of the game.

There are many games held in the school all round the year. However, Christmas games should be special and fun to play. Even if the kids do not win, they should not leave them disappointed.. School Christmas games must be memorable ones. Children should remember it until the end of their vacation.
