  • Ingredients:
    • 125 g raisins or sultanas
    • Water
    • Almonds
    • Walnuts
    • Sugar
    • 250 g rice

  • Method:
    • Take a saucepan and keep it on low flame.
    • When it becomes hot a bit then add little water in it
    • Let the water boil. After it starts to boil, then add little sugar in it and stir till the sugar dissolves in it.
    • Continue stirring until all the water turns into vapor.
    • Now add rice in it and cover the pan with a lid.
    • Let the rice cook.
    • Now add raisins, almonds and walnuts in it.
    • Mix the ingredients until they are coated with sugar.
    • Now serve this hot rice.

2. White Christmas Recipe from Australia

This is popular and commonly made recipe in Australia. It is easy to make and tastes wonderful.

  • Ingredients:
    • One cup desiccated coconut
    • 225 grams copha
    • Three fourth cup of sifted icing
    • Three cups rice bubbles
    • One cup mixed fruit. You can use any fruits of your desire.
    • One cup dry powdered milk
    • vanilla essence
    • sugar (as per taste)

  • Method:
    • Take a bowl and add in it rice bubbles.
    • Then add in it the cup of mixed fruits, desiccated coconut, dry powdered milk and icing sugar and mix well.
    • Now take a saucepan and heat it on a low flame.
    • Then add the copha in it and let it melt.
    • After it melts, add it to the other ingredients and mix well.
    • Now put this mixture in a biscuit tray and keep it in the refrigerator for ten to twelve hours.
    • After that remove the mixture from the refrigerator and then cut it into squares or desired shapes.

  • Tip:
    • You can even use white chocolate if you do not find copha.
