- Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 pounds whole salmon, cleaned
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger root
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 lime, zested
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Preparation:
- First, you need to prepare outdoor grill for high heat.
- After this, trim the tail and fins off of the salmon.
- Make many shallow cuts around the skin of salmon.
- Place salmon on 3 big sheets of aluminum foil.
- Stir together chili, sauce, garlic, ginger and soy sauce in a bowl. Mix with it lime zest, brown sugar and lime juice.
- Spread sauce over salmon with a spoon.
- Now, fold foil over salmon and crimp edges to seal.
- Place the fish one side of a gas grill and turn off the flames underneath it.
- Cook for half-hour
- Remove to serving plates and pour juices, which have collected in the foil over the top of fish.

2. Chocolate Cookie Nanaimo Bars Recipe: This is one of the tasty Canadian Christmas recipes.
- Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cups packed down chocolate
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- Preparation:
- First, you need to line a pan with parchment paper.
- Place 1 cup of butter into the top half of double boiler and then melt over simmering water.
- Stir in sugar and cocoa powder until the mixture gets smooth and the sugar has softened.
- Whisk in beaten egg and cook, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens up.
- Now, you need to remove double boiler top from heat and then stir in cookie crumbs until mixed well.
- Press crust into prepared dish and then refrigerate until chilled for 30 minutes.
- Beat together 1 cup of butter in a bowl with vanilla pudding powder and cream with mixer until mixture gets fluffy.
- Now, slowly beat in the sugar and continue beating until mixture gets creamy and yellow.
- You need to spread filling over curst and place it in the refrigerator for half-hour.
- Melt semisweet chocolate chips in the double boiler over hot water and then stir until get mixed well. .
- Now, remove chocolate mixture from heat and let to cool.
- Pour over vanilla layer. Use a spatula to spread chocolate totally over vanilla layer.
