Even if the Christmas recipe is traditional then you can make it look unique through garnishing and adding some new ingredients. Christmas party recipes make the party interesting and the guests remember the party for the food that you served them. The food served in the party should be in form of cocktails, appetizers, main dishes in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian category and desserts.

French Cheese and Focaccia Canapes Recipe: This is an easy to make recipe for Christmas party. This dish has cheesy tomatoes and olives. You can go through this recipe and prepare it for your guests during Christmas party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large focaccio (Italian Bread)
  • 1 packet of French cheese
  • 2 red peppers
  • 100 gms of red tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 8 slices of ham
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Black olive tapenade
  • Olive oil

Preparation:

  • Slice the bread in such a manner that it looks like an open book
  • Spread black olive tapenade on the bread
  • Keep the bread and season it with olive oil followed with tomatoes and roasted peppers.
  • Add salt and pepper according to your taste. Cheese and ham has to be added. The last thing to be used is fresh basil
  • Now, close the sandwich with the top half. Keep it in cool place for some hours.
  • Place a heavy thing on the sandwich, so that the bread absorbs all the juices that are squashed due to the weight.
  • While serving, cut it into a slice.
