  1. Christmas Plum Cake Recipe

    • Ingredients
      • Flour -200 grams
      • Almonds - 100 grams
      • Castor sugar - 200 grams
      • Butter - 200 grams
      • Dry grapes or raisins - 50 grams
      • Shajeera - 2 teaspoons
      • Orange peel - 50 grams
      • Baking soda - 2 teaspoon
      • Eggs - 6
      • Cherries - 50 grams
      • Cashews - 100 grams
      • Margarine - 200 grams
      • Caramel syrup - 1 cup
      • Powdered nutmeg - a pinch
      • Cake Mixture - 2 teaspoons (available in bakeries and grocery shops)
      • Ginger(soaked in sugar syrup) - 50 grams

    • Method
      • Take a bowl and beat the eggs in it.
      • Take another bowl and beat butter and sugar well.
      • Now, mix fruits that are finely chopped, sieved flour, cooking soda and baking soda.
      • Now add shajeera, cake masala to the mixture of butter.
      • Add caramel syrup to the beaten eggs to get a foamy mixture.
      • Now add this to the flour mixture and thicken it to form a cake mixture.
      • Next, pour it into a greased baking bowl and bake at 160 deg. C for at least twenty minutes.

  2. Gluten Free Plum Cake Recipe

    • Ingredients
      • 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
      • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
      • 1 cup gluten-free flour mix
      • 1/2 tsp salt
      • cinnamon sugar ( you can make this by adding two tbsp grated sugar with one tbsp cinnamon powder
      • 2 eggs
      • 1 cup sugar2 tsp fresh lemon juice
      • 1 tsp baking powder

    • Method
      • Take a bowl and cream butter, sugar and lemon juice for two minutes.
      • Add eggs one by one after creaming the mixture properly.
      • Now take a baking pan, put gluten free flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in it and mix it.
      • After it is properly mixed add sugar to it and beat well.
      • Then sprinkle with cinnamon powder as per your desire.
      • Bake it at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes. You can know that the cake is baked by looking at its surface you will find that the cake comes out separately from the pan. These two Christmas plum cakes will surely make your Christmas sweet and memorable.
