  • Ingredients:
    • One cup fresh peas, halved
    • One fourth cup rice vinegar
    • One medium cucumber, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
    • Four cups shredded Napa cabbage
    • Half cup coarsely chopped honey-roasted peanuts
    • One tablespoon salad oil
    • Two teaspoons toasted sesame oil
    • One eighth teaspoon salt
    • Half teaspoon red chili paste (if you want it to be spicy)
    • Half teaspoon sugar

  • Method:
    • Take a large mixing bowl and add in it cucumber and the peas.
    • Now take another small bowl and prepare the material required for dressing in it.
    • In the small bowl, add salad oil, vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, salt and chili paste as per your taste.
    • Now, pour this mixture on cucumber and peas and mix until all of them are coated with it.
    • Now, place this mixture in the refrigerator to cool down and let it set for at least four hours.
    • Just before you get this mixture to the dining table, add cabbage and peanuts.

2. Mashed Potatoes Recipe

  • Ingredients:
    • Two tablespoons butter or margarine
    • One third pounds baking potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
    • Two to fourth tablespoons milk or cream.
    • One fourth teaspoon salt
    • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Method:
    • Take a saucepan and place it on a high flame heat.
    • Pour some salted water in the saucepan.
    • Let the water boil.
    • Reduce the flame.
    • Now add potatoes in salted water and cover them.
    • Cook the potatoes for twenty to twenty-five minutes, until they become tender.
    • Now drain the potatoes and keep them in a bowl.
    • Mash them when they are hot itself so that it is easy for you.
    • Now add butter, salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes.
    • After you mix everything well, then add little milk or cream as your desire and mix well.

  • Tip:
    • Adding milk or cream will make the potatoes light and fluffy.
