Ingredients:

  • 10oz/300g milk chocolate
  • 3/4 cup shredded coconut
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Bubbles or chopped nuts

Preparation:

  • In order to make chocolate Christmas trees, you need to first break the chocolate into pieces and then melt in microwave
  • After this, you need to add the rice bubbles as well as coconut and stir until well mixed

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 6oz/185g butter
  • 4oz/130g boiled lollies/ life savers
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups plain flour

Methodology:

  • To prepare glass biscuits, you first need to cream together vanilla, butter and sugar.
  • After this, you need to add egg and flour and beat until dough is smooth
  • Now, you need to wrap the dough in plastic and then refrigerate it for half-hour
  • Remove from refrigerator and then roll out dough to 2mm thickness
  • After this, use big biscuit cutter to cut many different shapes and then small cutter to cut the centres
  • Bake the biscuits for 5 minutes at 170 degrees on baking paper
  • Now, you need to remove from oven and then sprinkle crushed boiled lollies in centre
  • Finally, allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing from the paper
